Course description
The Bioinformatics Analysis of Spatial Biology Data 2026 is a free in-person five-day advanced course designed to provide intensive training in spatial biology and the computational methods required to analyze these data in immunological research. Leading experts will introduce participants to the fundamentals and latest advances in the field, including state-of-the-art technologies such as 10x Genomics Visium and Xenium, as well as multiplex immunofluorescence. Participants will receive hands-on instruction from specialized instructors, learning to process and analyze publicly available spatial datasets. The course will culminate in group presentations, where participants share their results and interpretations, encouraging collaborative discussion and knowledge exchange. By the end of the course, attendees will have gained both practical expertise in spatial biology and valuable professional connections to expand the use of these approaches across Latin America.
Travel grants will be awarded to selected participants. Certificates will be provided to participants who attend all five days of the course.
