Bernardita Méndez, PhD

Biography

PhD in Cellular Biology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Graduate in Biology from the Universidad de Chile. Co-founder and President of Fundación Ciencia & Vida, professor of the PhD Program in Biotechnology at Universidad Andrés Bello, and director of several companies and non-profit institutions, including Fundación Chile and Comunidad Mujer. Likewise, between 2006 and 2010, she was a member of the National Innovation Council for Competitiveness, convened by President Michelle Bachelet during her first term.
